"Umm... well I take TaeKwonDo and I know some Aikido... I'm also trying to learn Karate." Keiseki said, smiling. "And as for manga... I prefer..." he started, looking to the sand. "Umm... well... romance or shoujo..." he said, almost to whisper as he blushed, still facing the ground. And here's where I get made fun of... he thought, looking away from Suzu slightly.

Suzu nodded, listening to his list. "Impressive..." she told him sweetly. She raised an eyebrow, "Romance and Shoujo huh?" she questioned, "That's very refreshing to hear." she told him with a soft, gentle, and understanding look present on her face. "I'm glad to see that the world isn't totally currupt... I think that's wonderful! I mean... I bet you a lot of guys like that kind of stuff, why wouldn't they after all? and they probabally aren't brave enough to come out of the closet... kudos to you" She told him, a bright, energetic smile on her face.

Keiseki looked up to Suzu, a surprised look on his face. "Y-you don't think I'm... girlie or a... sissy for reading that kind kind of manga...?" he asked, relieved slightly. "People usually... make fun of me for reading it... so I don't like telling anyone..." he said quietly.

Suzu shook her head, at his questions. "No... not in the slightest... and frankly anyone who does, and those people who make fun of you, should be ashamed." she said with a sigh, ashamed for them. "That's a shame that you let the opinions of others reflect in your outlook on telling people that kind of thing... After all, as long as you enjoy yourself, it shouldn't matter." she said, with a soft smile.

"You're right..." Keiseki said, smiling slightly. "I've always hated that part of me too... but it seems there's nothing I can do about it." he said, laughing slightly. "I've tried every year to change, but it seems harder to do, especially in this kind of school..." he said, sighing,

Suzu smiled weakly at him, hearing his perdiciment. "Well... I see. Everyone has traits they don't like about themselves... but even when there seems there is nothing we can do about them... we have to keep trying... I could help you? If you want... and the kids at this school aren't all bad..." she said sweetly, "You should give em a chance... you might be surprised."

"Ah... well... if you think you can help me then... okay..." Keiseki said, smiling slightly. "And I'm sure not all of the people in this school are that bad. It's just that with this school, and others like it, it leads to misunderstandings sometimes... I think is a good way to put it... maybe..." he said, smiling slightly.

Suzu smiled sweetly. "I'll sure as heck try to help." she said gently. She thought about his words for a moment, curious as to what she should say back. "Misunderstandings... hm?" she questioned, as though testing the word on her tongue. "I suppose that would be a good way of putting it... even if it is somewhat vague..." she said with a soft chuckle.

"Ah, thanks." Keiseki said, smiling nervously and bowing slightly. "Yeah, you're probably right. I'm not really that good at saying these kinds of things sometimes." he said, laughing slightly.

Suzu shrugged a bit, as though letting the thought slide. "Don't be hard on yourself... I really don't know a whole lot of people who are good at saying those kinds of things..." she said with a laugh, scratching the back of her head a bit.

"Ah, well, okay. I guess that's somewhat good... in a way... "Keiseki said, laughing nervously. "So... umm... do you read manga, Norio-san...?" he asked, smiling slightly.
Re: Playing Music (Sai/Open) « Reply #71 on Aug 1, 2008, 12:36am »
Suzu nodded swiftly. "Yes... I do. I love reading a good romance one... Though I don't get to enjoy reading them a whole lot. I can't get my hands on any it seems..." she says with a sigh. "But that's alright, it's a good way not to stay addicted..." she said with a laugh.
(OOC: I was soo tempted to put that she didn't care for romance and shojo, and that she perfers more guy oriented manga... you know why... thought that might be a bit weird though, so I didn't...)

"Ah, really?" Keiseki asked, laughing slightly. "I could lend you some of mine if you want..." he said, smiling. "I have... a really big collection... and I read some online too." he said, laughing to himself.
((Ah, lol. It would've been interesting though. ^^;;))

Szu laughed a bit as well. "Yes... really." she told him with a gentle smile. "Really? You could?" she asked, excitedly, her smile becoming a tad bigger as she spoke. "I would really enjoy that." she told him with a nod. "Online? that sounds like a relatively inexpensive way to stay hooked..." she said with another laugh.

"Of course. I could bring some with me when you hear me play my piano." Keiseki said, smiling. "Well... since there aren't any stores close enough, online is really my only other option..." he said, laughing slightly.

Suzu nodded, energetically. "That would be wonderful!" she said, the excitement evident in her voice. She laughed a tad, thinking about how awkwardly located the school was, for feeding a manga addiction. "Well it's a pretty good alternative to not reading any at all... I didn't even think of that... I suppose you learn something new everyday, huh?" she asked with a bright smile.
